Common questions
What does it cost?
One fixed monthly fee, set after a scoping call and written into your proposal. Foundation is $4,500 to $7,500. Operator is $10,000 to $20,000. Institutional starts at $25,000. No hourly billing. Where you land depends on volume, facilities, partners and history.
How fast can we be ready?
30 days or less. The clock starts when we have access to your records. A messy history or missing records can move the date. We tell you in the first week, not the last.
Do we need our lender's OK?
Only if you have a line. Check your credit agreement. It may say who prepares or certifies reporting, or require an independent administrator. We read it on day one and tell you. Your lender decides acceptance.
We already have a bookkeeper, controller or CPA.
We work with them. A bookkeeper or controller records and closes transactions. We add the deal-level ledger, partner statements, and lender or investor reports on top, and a CFO-level partner reviews what goes out. At Operator and Institutional we can take over pieces you choose. Your proposal prices both versions so you can compare.
What does audit-ready mean?
An auditor can trace any number to support kept by deal. We prepare the books and the support. Your auditor audits and signs. We are not an auditor or an independent administrator. The accounting basis, GAAP or management basis, is agreed in your proposal.
What if we have no clean history?
It is common. We rebuild what lenders, partners and investors ask for from funding and collection records, reconciled to the bank. We agree how far back to go with you, and we say what cannot be rebuilt.
What is the minimum term, and how do we exit?
Both are in your proposal, before you sign.
Do you handle tax?
Yes, from Operator up: tax preparation, planning and advice, with CPA-level review. Foundation still gets 1099s, K-1s and the year-end package for your CPA. We work with your outside CPA or auditor, or lead the tax side. It sits in the same team that runs your close, so the books and the return agree.
Do you do more than the close?
Yes. Beyond the close and the lender package: diagnostic and roadmap, KPI scorecard, budget and forecast, ISO and product economics, AP and controls, history cleanup, and support through a financing. Your proposal sets the scope. See the full list.
Is our data safe with you?
We ask for read-only access where the system allows it and limit access to the team on your account. We sign an NDA before you share anything, and we remove access when the engagement ends. We go through the details on the first call. More on your data.
